Two pieces of thick bread
2 to 3 slices of mozzarella or any cheese that melts
1 tablespoon of softened butter
1 clove of garlic, chopped up (or 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder)
1 teaspoon of chopped parsley or dried herbs
A little bit of salt
How to do it
- Prepare the garlic butter
Put the softened butter, garlic, parsley, and a little salt in a small bowl and mix them together.
- Make the sandwich
Put garlic butter on one side of each piece of bread. Put the cheese slices between the bread with the buttered sides facing out.
- Heat up the air fryer
Set the air fryer to 370°F (185°C) and let it heat up for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Make the sandwich
Put the sandwich in the basket of the air fryer and cook it for 5 to 6 minutes. Turn it over halfway through so that both sides get crispy and golden.
- Give it to them
Take the sandwich off the plate and let it sit for a minute before cutting it. Inside, the cheese will be perfectly melted and stretchy.
You can eat this sandwich by itself or with tomato soup for a warm meal.
