✅Ingredients:
12 oz fettuccine
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb chicken breast, sliced into strips
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
✅Directions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the sliced chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 5–6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the same skillet and sauté for 4–5 minutes until tender and lightly browned.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the butter and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce.
Add the cooked fettuccine and toss until every strand is coated in the creamy sauce.
Garnish generously with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan before serving.
