๐Ÿ’œ Purple Cabbage & Blueberry Wellness Drink

๐Ÿงพ Ingredients

  • ยฝ medium red cabbage, chopped
  • 1ยฝ cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon dried hibiscus flowers
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
  • ยฝ teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
  • 3โ€“4 additional cups cold water

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions

  1. Wash the cabbage and blueberries thoroughly.
  2. Place the cabbage, blueberries, hibiscus flowers, ginger (if using), and 2 cups of water in a large pot.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15โ€“20 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing the solids to extract as much liquid as possible.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice and honey until dissolved.
  7. Add the remaining cold water and mix well.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

๐ŸงŠ Storage

  • Store in clean glass bottles or jars.
  • Keep refrigerated for up to 4โ€“5 days.
  • Shake well before serving.

๐Ÿฅค Serving

Serve cold over ice with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.

Yield: About 2 liters
