Ingredients
- 2 potatoes
- 1 ½ tablespoon vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly with clean water. Peel the skin off or you can leave the skin on it’s your choice. Either way, it works.2 potatoes
- Use a slicer or slice it using a knife.
- Make sure that the potato slices are evenly cut.
- Now take a bowl of water and put the potato slices into it. Soak the potatoes in the water for 20 minutes. After that wash the potato slices at least 4-5 times to get rid of the remaining starch.
- Now place the potatoes on the paper towel and let them dry for a while.
- Transfer the potatoes into a mixing bowl to add oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.1 ½ tablespoon vegetable oil, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste, chili Flakes
- Mix them well to coat the potatoes evenly.
- Preheat your air fryer at 190C/375F for 5 minutes.
- Put the seasoned potatoes into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket to avoid uneven cooking. Cook the air fryer potatoes at 190C/375F for 15 minutes. Toss the potatoes halfway through the cooking process.
- Remove the potato chips from the basket, serve and enjoy your crispy air fryer potato chips.
Notes
- Try to slice the potatoes evenly by using a mandolin or evenly slice them with a knife. This will give you an evenly cooked result.
- Soak the sliced potatoes in water for at least 20 minutes to get rid of excess starch. This gives you the best result.
- Make sure to dry the potatoes before you mix the spices for the best result.
- Cooking time can be adjusted depending on the thickness of the potato slices.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket because this blocks the circulation of hot airflow inside the air fryer. Resulting in unevenly cooked chips.
