Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream. Mix just until combined.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 22–28 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the brownies bake, melt the butter for the glaze in a saucepan over medium heat. Continue cooking until it turns golden brown and smells nutty, about 4–5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and whisk in the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the warm glaze over the warm brownies and spread evenly.
- Let the glaze set completely before slicing into squares.
