Banana Pudding

Ingredients:
1 box vanilla wafers
4 ripe bananas, sliced
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 container whipped topping or homemade whipped cream

Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, vanilla pudding mix, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and thickened.

In a serving dish or trifle bowl, arrange a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom. Add a layer of sliced bananas over the wafers.

Spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.

Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with pudding on top.

Spread whipped topping or whipped cream over the top layer.

Crush a few vanilla wafers and sprinkle them over the pudding for garnish.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving to allow the flavors to blend and the cookies to soften.

Serve chilled.
