Ingredients
8 biscuits (store-bought or homemade)
450 g breakfast sausage
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 ½ cups whole milk
1 tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Instructions
Bake the biscuits according to package or recipe instructions until golden and fluffy.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage, breaking it into small crumbles until browned and fully cooked.
Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt, then sprinkle in the flour. Stir well and cook for about 1–2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.
Slowly pour in the milk while stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Continue cooking and stirring until the gravy thickens and becomes creamy.
Season with black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Split the warm biscuits and place them on a plate, then generously spoon the sausage gravy over the top.
