Ingredients

For the Steak:

1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your choice), cut into bite-sized cubes

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Cheesy Fettuccine:

12 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tbsp butter

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

½ cup reserved pasta water (as needed to adjust sauce consistency)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Optional Garnish:

Fresh parsley

Extra Parmesan

Drizzle of garlic butter from steak

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Fettuccine

Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Garlic Butter Steak

Pat steak cubes dry, season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear steak cubes 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.

Add minced garlic in the last minute of cooking and toss to coat. Remove steak from skillet and keep warm.

Step 3: Make the Cheddar Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

Stir in cheddar cheese and Parmesan until smooth.

Season with garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper.

Add reserved pasta water if the sauce needs thinning.

Step 4: Combine Pasta & Steak

Add fettuccine to the cheesy sauce and toss to coat.

Return steak cubes to the pan, gently folding them in.

Step 5: Serve & Garnish

Plate fettuccine topped with steak. Garnish with parsley, extra Parmesan, and a drizzle of garlic butter.
