▶️Ingredients
8 slices sandwich bread or soft dinner rolls
12 slices deli ham
8 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp poppy seeds (optional)
▶️Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange the bottom slices of bread or rolls in a baking dish. Layer ham evenly over the bread, then top with cheese. Place the remaining bread slices on top.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
Pour the butter mixture evenly over the sandwiches, letting it soak into the tops.
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
Serve hot, straight from the oven.
