Who will eat this.. Old-school spaghetti*
Ingredients
400 g spaghetti
2 tbsp olive oil
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (800 g) crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 cup water
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add chopped onion and cook until soft, then stir in garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
Mix in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, water, sugar, salt, black pepper, oregano, basil, and paprika. Stir well.
Let the sauce simmer on low heat for 15–20 minutes until thick and rich.
Add the cooked spaghetti into the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
Top with grated Parmesan if desired.
