Savory Chinese-Style Ground Beef and Tender Cabbage Skillet with Garlic Ginger Sauce

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 small onion, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

5 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced1 large carrot, julienned

3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 green onions, sliced1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions:

Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.Add the ground beef and cook for 5–6 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon until browned.Stir in the sliced onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.Add the cabbage and carrot to the skillet and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften but still have a little crunch.In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce, brown sugar, and black pepper.Pour the sauce over the beef and cabbage mixture and stir well to coat evenly.Cook for another 2–3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and soak into the vegetables.Remove from heat and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutesKcal: 320 kcal | Servings: 4 servings
