Directions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk constantly for 1-2 minutes to make a roux.
- Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously to create a smooth sauce. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta and mixed seafood to the cheese sauce, stirring gently to combine.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for a crispy crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
