Ingredients :

1 lb beef liver, sliced into strips
2 large onions, sliced into rings
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Pat the beef liver dry with paper towels. Mix the flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, then lightly coat the liver slices.
Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion rings and cook until soft and deeply caramelized. Transfer the onions to a plate.
Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Cook the liver for 2–3 minutes per side until browned but still tender.
Return the onions to the skillet. Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to coat everything evenly.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens and the liver is fully cooked. Serve immediately.
