No-Bake Millionaire’s Chocolate Caramel Bars

😋Serves: 12 bars

Ingredients:

For the Base:

250 g digestive biscuits, crushed

120 g unsalted butter, melted

60 g brown sugar

For the Caramel Layer:

200 g sweetened condensed milk

120 g butter

100 g brown sugar

60 g golden syrup

For the Chocolate Topping:

200 g dark chocolate

15 g white chocolate chips (optional)

Method:

  1. Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter and brown sugar until combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into a lined square tray and chill for 15–20 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, butter, brown sugar, and golden syrup. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously until thick and golden.
  4. Pour the caramel over the chilled base and spread evenly. Refrigerate for 20 minutes until slightly firm.
  5. Melt the dark chocolate and pour over the caramel layer, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Sprinkle white chocolate chips on top if desired, then chill until fully set.
  7. Slice into bars and serve chilled or at room temperature for a rich caramel treat.
